Mo Faal was the AFC Fylde hero on Saturday afternoon after firing in a late winner away from home at Scarborough Athletic in the Vanarama National League North.
The Baggies youngster was on hand to bury the ball into the back of the net from close range after the Scarborough stopper had spilled a catch with just seven minutes remaining on the referee’s watch.
Lewis Maloney had put Scarborough ahead early on, only for Emeka Obi to equalise shortly after for the visiting team.
The strike was Faal’s fifth for Fylde, who now sit top of the division following the 2-1 triumph - their fifth consecutive league victory.
Mo completed the whole game at the Flamingo Land Stadium.

Elsewhere, defender Cedric Kipre got another 90 minutes under his belt for Cardiff City who slipped to a 1-0 defeat at home to Millwall.
Lions forward Tom Bradshaw scored the game’s only goal after 26 minutes in South Wales.
Fellow defender Caleb Taylor was also left disappointed this weekend, playing 90 minutes for Cheltenham Town in their 4-2 defeat at table-topping Plymouth Argyle in Sky Bet League One.
Goals from Dan Scarr and Ryan Hardie had the hosts two goals up inside half an hour, but the Robins pulled one back through Taylor Perry.
Callum Wright made it 3-1 after the break, but Taylor’s Town hit back again, this time through Alfie May. However, Argyle weren’t to be denied and wrapped up three points late on through Sam Cosgrove.
