Five West Bromwich Albion players were in action across various levels of English football over the final weekend before Christmas, with none of them suffering a defeat.
On Friday night, towering centre-back Caleb Taylor delivered an eye-catching performance at the back for Sky Bet League One side Wycombe Wanderers in their 0-0 draw at home to Bolton Wanderers.
Taylor played the entirety of the encounter at Adams Park, helping the hosts to another clean sheet.
The result means Wycombe have a two-point lead at the top of the third tier ahead of Birmingham City’s trip to Crawley Town on Monday night.
In the same division, goalkeeper Josh Griffiths played 90 minutes for Bristol Rovers who drew 1-1 at home to automatic-promotion chasing Wrexham on Saturday afternoon.
Elliot Lee put the outfit from Wales 1-0 up after 18 minutes, but the Gas hit back to steal a point in the final moments when Promise Omochere equalised.
Rovers are 19th in the table, three points clear of the drop zone heading into Christmas.
Fellow goalkeeper Ronnie Hollingshead kept a clean sheet away from home for Southern League Premier Central division team Alvechurch, who triumphed 1-0 at Harborough Town.
Midfielder Matt Richards also completed the whole game in Leicestershire, a game which was won by Shay Willock's goal at the end of the first period. The victory pushed the Church up to 13th.
In the same league, midfielder Souleyman Mandey got through 86 minutes of Stourbridge's 1-1 home draw with Midlands rivals AFC Telford United.
He was replaced by Alex Jones with the score at 1-0 to the visitors. Jones went on to bag the leveller deep into stoppage time.
The point means Stourbridge occupy fifth position in the table.
Elsewhere, striker Reyes Cleary was an unused substitute for Walsall in their 2-0 victory away at Harrogate Town in Sky Bet League Two.
