Five Baggies were in action away from The Hawthorns over the weekend, including striker Reyes Cleary who made his debut for Hartlepool United.

The academy graduate came on after an hour of the Pools’ 1-1 home draw against Woking in the Vanarama National League, replacing Kazenga Lua Lua.

Chinwike Okoli was dismissed for the visitors in the opening half, but Woking still managed to score first when David Ferguson put the ball into his own net ten minutes into the second period.

Hartlepool grabbed an equaliser after 67 minutes courtesy of Luke Charman, but Cleary’s team were unable to find a winner. The point leaves them 12th in the table, four points off a play-off place.

Elsewhere, goalkeeper Josh Griffiths played the entirety of Bristol Rovers’ 2-0 defeat at Wigan Athletic in Sky Bet League One.

The Latics claimed all three points thanks to efforts from James Carragher and Jonny Smith.

The Gas now sit 18th, seven points clear of trouble.

Goalkeeper Ronnie Hollingshead and midfielder Matt Richards helped Alvechurch to a 3-1 home triumph over A.F.C. Telford United.

Matt Stenson’s penalty put the away side in front, but Joe Willis’ goal and Dylan Hadley-Allen’s penalty meant the Church went in 2-1 up at the break. Hadley-Allen added his second and his side’s third five minutes into the second period to wrap up maximum points.

Alvechurch are 13th in the standings, sat on 36 points from 24 matches played.

In the same division, defender Alex Williams completed 90 minutes for Stratford Town who recorded a 2-0 home win over title rivals Halesowen Town.

Owen James and Kevin Joshua scored for the Bards, goals which sent them up to second and one point off the top of the table.
