Five West Bromwich Albion players featured for their loan clubs over the final weekend in April, with three completing their 2024/25 campaigns.
Defender Caleb Taylor played the entirety of Wycombe Wanderers’ 1-0 defeat at Leyton Orient in Sky Bet League One, a result which ended their hopes of automatic promotion to the second tier.
Randell Williams scored the only goal in the middle of the second period for the hosts. Taylor’s team have one league fixture remaining before heading into the play-offs.
Striker Reyes Cleary played 85 minutes of Hartlepool United’s loss at Rochdale in the Vanarama National League.
Cleary’s side suffered a 5-1 defeat in the north west, with Devante Rodney (2), Ian Henderson, Leon Ayinde and Jay Bird all finding the net for the Dale. Nicky Featherstone was Hartlepool’s scorer.
The Albion man came off with five minutes left, being replaced by Kian Foreman. The Pools sit 12th in the table having completed 45 of their 46 fixtures.

Versatile midfielder Matt Richards was brought on in the 73rd minute of Leamington’s 1-1 draw at Curzon Ashton on the last day of the Vanarama National League North term.
He replaced Ewan Williams with the scores level at 0-0. The Brakes went on the take the lead four minutes later courtesy of an own goal, but the hosts snatched a point with virtually the last kick of the contest through Adam Barton.
The draw meant Leamington finished 16th in the division on 55 points, their highest ever points tally in the National League North.
Two youngsters featured on the final day of the Southern League Premier Central division.
Goalkeeper Ronnie Hollingshead played the full game for Alvechurch who secured a 3-2 home win over Lowestoft Town.
Shay Willock and Kieran Wakefield (2) found the net for the Church, with Joao Rangel and Joseph Duffy scoring for the away outfit.
Alvechurch ended the campaign in 13th position in the table. Following the encounter, Ronnie was voted Supporters’ Player of the Season. Congratulations, Ronnie!

Finally, right winger Archie Kirton played just under 70 minutes of Stourbridge’s 2-0 defeat at Bedford Town.
Kirton was replaced by Richard Batchelor with the score at 1-0 to the hosts following Ryan Blake’s goal. Jack Davies made it 2-0 late on and that’s how it stayed as Bedford collected the three points required to be crowned champions. Stourbridge finished 9th in the division.
