Four Baggies were in action for their loan clubs over the most recent weekend.
Defender Caleb Taylor and goalkeeper Josh Griffiths each completed the entirety of their games for Wycombe Wanderers and Bristol Rovers respectively in Sky Bet League One.
Taylor’s Wycombe recorded a narrow 1-0 win at Wigan Athletic thanks to Joe Low’s 11th-minute goal. It was a victory which means they’re now two points clear at the top of the table.
Elsewhere, Griffiths’ Gas were held to a 1-1 draw at home by Lincoln City. Rovers took the lead in the opening period courtesy of Shaqai Forde, however the visitors equalised in the middle of the second half with Jack Moylan grabbing their goal.
The point leaves Josh’s team 16th in the third-tier standings after 14 fixtures played.
In the Southern League Premier Central division, young duo Ronnie Hollingshead and Matt Richards earned senior game time for Alvechurch who slipped to a 5-3 defeat at Barwell.
Hollingshead completed the whole game between the sticks, while the versatile Richards, who can play in defence or in midfield, came on with 21 minutes remaining.
The setback leaves The Church 17th in the table, two points clear of the danger zone.
