Five Baggies featured for their loan clubs over the weekend, with two appearing in Sky Bet League One and three playing in the third qualifying round of the Isuzu FA Trophy.
There were victories for goalkeeper Josh Griffiths and defender Caleb Taylor in the third tier for Bristol Rovers and Wycombe Wanderers respectively.
Both played full matches, with Griffiths’ side defeating Burton Albion 3-1 at the Pirelli Stadium and Taylor’s team claiming a 1-0 triumph at home to Crawley Town.
The Brewers took the lead against Rovers thanks to Danilo Orsi-Dadamo’s effort, but second-half goals from Shaqai Forde, Clinton Mola and Grant Ward secure the points for the visitors. Burton also had Terence Vancooten dismissed towards the end with the score at 2-1.
The victory lifted Josh’s outfit up to 18th in the standings.
Fred Onyedinma scored the only goal of the contest at Adams Park for Taylor’s Wycombe, who climbed up to fifth as a result of their win.
Elsewhere, three youngsters competed in the third qualifying round of the Isuzu FA Trophy.
Ronnie Hollingshead was the hero for Alvechurch, saving an injury-time penalty to help seal a 2-1 victory at Spalding United.
The Baggies stopper dived down low to his left to deny Bartosz Cybulski from the spot in the 93rd minute of the tie.
Callum Sullivan and David Solademi scored for the Church, with Joe Nyahwema netting for the home team. Alvechurch’s victory was made even more dramatic by the fact they played for the majority of the second period with ten men following a red card.

Right-back Alex Williams completed 90 minutes for Stratford Town who exited the competition after a 1-0 defeat at Barwell. Leroy Lita’s strike was enough to send the hosts through.
Finally, midfielder Souleyman Mandey came off the bench in the 76th minute for Stourbridge who earned a 3-0 win over Matlock Town at home.
The Baggies man replaced former Albion youngster Alex Bradley at The War Memorial Atheltic Ground with the score already at 2-0 courtesy of strikes from Bradley and Toumani Sidibe. The Glassboys added a third through Toumani in the last minute.
