Mason Holgate came on for his Jamaica debut in their victory over Nicaragua in the early hours of Friday morning.

The Albion loanee earned his first call-up for the Reggae Boyz this month and came on with a quarter-of-an-hour to go in the Caribbean side's Concacaf Nations League 2-0 victory.

He replaced Joel Latibeaudiere shortly after Romario Williams' second-half finish, having taken the lead on 32 minutes thanks to an own goal from Josué Quijano.

The win puts Steve McLaren's team top of Group B in the competition, claiming seven points from three games ahead of their fixture with Honduras on Tuesday morning.

Elsewhere, Mikey Johnston and Jayson Molumby were unused substitutes during the Republic of Ireland's 2-1 win over Finland in Helsinki.

Torbjørn Heggem was made to wait to make his Norway debut as he also went unused in his nation's 3-0 victory over Slovenia.

The Republic of Ireland face a tricky trip to Greece in their second fixture of the break, while the Norwegians travel to Austria atop their group - with both games taking place on Sunday evening.
