West Bromwich Albion will be chasing a third straight Sky Bet Championship victory when they travel down to Cardiff City on Wednesday night (ko 7.45pm).
The Baggies recorded back-to-back 1-0 home wins over Wigan Athletic and Huddersfield Town last week, results which have helped close the gap to the top six ahead of the midweek trip to South Wales.
Carlos Corberán's men have struggled for form away though and will be desperate to halt a run of five consecutive losses in all competitions on the road on Wednesday.
Hosts Cardiff sit 21st in the table and will be looking nervously over their shoulder at the sides directly below them in the relegation zone.
However, they've enjoyed two big wins in front of their own supporters in recent weeks, beating Reading and Bristol City to ease fears of the drop.

Our opponents
Cardiff City have had another challenging Sky Bet Championship campaign and still require a handful of victories to secure their second-tier status.
The Bluebirds, who finished 18th in 2021/22, are 21st ahead of kick-off and the side bottom three Wigan, Blackpool and Huddersfield are trying to drag back into trouble.
Wednesday's hosts went 14 games without a win between mid-November and mid-February, but have since turned a corner and claimed maximum points in three of their last five - victories which have wedged a small gap between themselves and the trio of teams beneath them.
City are on their third permanent manager of the campaign, with Sabri Lamouchi replacing Mark Hudson in late January after the latter had held the post following the dismissal of Steve Morrison in September.
Cardiff's two home triumphs over Bristol City and Reading were most welcome given their precarious league position, and they'll be determined to move further away from the relegation zone by recording another positive scoreline at the Cardiff City Stadium in midweek.
From the Albion Archive
Albion produced a brilliant display at the Cardiff City Stadium last season, beating the Bluebirds 4-0 in September 2021.
Karlan Grant opened the scoring early on before Curtis Nelson turned the ball into his own set shortly after the interval.
Alex Mowatt's screamer made it three and Matty Phillips converted a fourth at the back post to seal a memorable victory on the road.
Supporters can watch the highlights below.
One for the stattos
The Baggies are unbeaten in their last three games against Cardiff City and have lost just one of their last six meetings with Wednesday's hosts.
The last Cardiff victory over Albion was during the promotion-winning 2019/20 campaign. The Bluebirds won 2-1 on home soil in January 2020 thanks to strikes from Callum Paterson and Lee Tomlin. Charlie Austin scored for the Baggies from the spot that night.
Colours for the road
Carlos Corberán's side will wear their green and yellow away kit on Wednesday night.
Albion last wore their away colours over a month ago at Birmingham City.
