West Bromwich Albion face Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough on Saturday afternoon in an encounter which is certain to produce huge consequences at both ends of the Sky Bet Championship table (ko 3pm).
The Baggies head into the fixture on the back of consecutive defeats to Sunderland and Leicester City, but they still have a three-point gap between themselves and Hull City in 7th with two games remaining and a superior goal difference.
Hosts Sheffield Wednesday dragged themselves out of the bottom three for the first time since the opening day of the season with a crucial 3-1 triumph over relegation rivals Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park on Sunday lunchtime.
Albion secured all three points in the reverse fixture back at The Hawthorns in early October, with John Swift's early strike enough to seal a 1-0 success.

The opponents
Sheffield Wednesday's survival hopes are now in their own hands after recovering from a dreadful start to the 2023/24 campaign which saw them win none of their first 15 games in all competitions.
The Owls' 3-1 victory at Blackburn moved them out of the relegation zone with two matches to play - Albion at Hillsborough on Saturday and mid-table Sunderland at the Stadium of Light on the final day.
The hosts head into this weekend's clash with the Baggies on a four-game unbeaten run (W2, D2), while on home soil, Wednesday boast a record of just one defeat from their last 9 fixtures in all competitions.
The Yorkshire outfit, who sit one point and one place above Birmingham City in 22nd, are managed by 34-year-old German Danny Rohl.
This job is Rohl's first in management having held coaching positions at RB Leipzig, Southampton, Bayern Munich and the German national team. He was appointed in the middle of October and has completely turned Sheffield Wednesday's season around, injecting energy and passion into their performances, while also adding precious points to their tally.
Rohl, who turns 35 on Sunday, will be hoping for an early birthday present when Carlos Corberán brings his team to town, with Wednesday knowing three points against Albion would give their chances of staying in the second tier a monumental boost.
One to remember
Albion claimed a 3-0 victory at Hillsborough the last time they visited in July 2020 - a result which helped them secure promotion to the Premier League that summer.
Charlie Austin's penalty put the visitors in front at the interval.
Matheus Pereira then bagged a brace after the break to seal all three points.

Since then, Albion have won six and drawn three of their previous nine encounters with the Owls.
