Johnston bagged brilliant efforts at home to Coventry City and away at QPR, before notching a double in the 4-1 triumph at Huddersfield Town.

The Republic of Ireland international faces competition from Ipswich Town defender Leif Davis, Norwich City midfielder Gabriel Sara and Coventry City forward Ellis Simms.
The judging panel includes Sky Sports’ Don Goodman, EFL Chief Executive Trevor Birch and Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies.
The winner is set to be announced on Friday, April 12.
