There were mixed emotions for Albion midfielder Jayson Molumby on Saturday night.
The Baggies man was awarded the Player of the Match award for his display against Scotland at Hampden Park in the UEFA Nations League – a match which the Republic of Ireland lost 2-1.
Molumby completed 77 minutes in Glasgow before being replaced by Alan Browne, while Albion team-mate Dara O’Shea played the full game.
Stephen Kenny's men took the lead courtesy of John Egan in the first 45, but the Scots scored twice after the break to earn the three points, with their goals coming from Jack Hendry and Ryan Christie.
