Okay Yokuslu says he and his team-mates will give everything they can in their attempts to try and secure a place in the Sky Bet Championship Play-Offs.
Carlos Corberán’s team head to the Swansea.com Stadium on Monday afternoon (ko 3pm) knowing they need a victory, as well as results elsewhere to go their way, in order to earn a top-six finish.
And, talking to WBA TV at the club’s training ground, Yokuslu insisted the Baggies squad is full of “belief” heading into the final day clash.
“This is a final for us, but we are excited for it,” said Okay.
“Of course, we know exactly what we have to do. We need to give our all as team.
“Every game has been important, especially the last couple of weeks, we had opportunities to get more points but didn’t take them.
“That’s football sometimes, you don’t always get what you want but when you think back on the season, after a tough start I think we should be proud of how we have fought back and pushed for the Play-Off places.
“It’s been a long season, we’ve had some difficulties but we’re still there, so we’re going to try our very best to take our chance.
“We have a brilliant group of players here and we’re a good team, so we have belief within the dressing room.
“We know that it’s not completely dependent on us, but we have to go there fully focused in knowing we need to win and try to make the thousands of travelling Baggies very proud and very happy.”
Albion are set to take a sold-out following of 2,000 supporters down to South Wales on bank holiday Monday.
The midfielder, who picked up the 2022/23 Players’ Player of the Season award, wants to claim a victory to reward those who have backed them throughout the season.
Yokuslu added: “As a group of players, we need and want to make our fans happy.
"From day one, they wanted us to be higher in the table and push for promotion.
“They have supported us all season and, as I say, it hasn’t worked exactly how we would have liked. But we have a big opportunity so we will go there, try our best and push ourselves to get the result that we want.
“The manager has had us working all week and it’s going to be a tough game, of course.
“They have a different style of play, they’ve had a good run of results and it’s the final game of the season, so every team wants to finish with a victory. But we know exactly what we need to do.
“We are fighting for the Play-Offs and we need those three points more, so we need to show that on the pitch by playing with belief and giving everything that we can with one last push.”
