Paddy McNair scored Northern Ireland’s first goal in their 2-0 home victory over Luxembourg in the UEFA Nations League on Thursday night.
The Baggies defender poked home from close range as early as the 11th minute at Windsor Park in Belfast in his side’s maiden League C Group 3 encounter.
Dan Ballard notched Northern Ireland’s second strike of the night five minutes later.
McNair played the entirety of the contest and will hope to earn more match minutes when the GAWA travel to Bulgaria on Sunday evening (ko 5pm).
