Alex Palmer is Wembley-bound after helping Lincoln City reach the Sky Bet League One play-off final.
Palmer’s side were beaten 2-1 on Saturday by Sunderland at the Stadium of Light, but Lincoln’s 2-0 victory in the first leg was enough to secure a spot in Sunday’s final at the home of English football.
The Albion stopper completed the full 90 minutes after missing the home tie through injury.

Sunderland raced into a two-goal lead after just 33 minutes thanks to strikes from Ross Stewart and Charlie Wyke, but Tom Hopper’s second-half goal sent Lincoln through.
Palmer and the Imps will now face Blackpool for a place in next season’s Sky Bet Championship. Good luck, Alex!
