Matheus Pereira is up for the EA Sports Premier League Player of the Month award for April after producing a number of impressive recent performances.
The Brazilian attacker scored four goals and bagged two assists in his four appearances across April, helping Albion to two victories and one draw.
Matheus kicked-off the month in scintillating style at Stamford Bridge, scoring two and creating two in Albion’s memorable 5-2 win against Chelsea.
The 25-year-old followed his display in London up by scoring the first of three goals in the Baggies’ triumph over Southampton at The Hawthorns.
Pereira’s final strike of the month came in the final game of the month – a penalty emphatically converted at Villa Park.
The Albion man faces competition for the award from Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool), Stuart Dallas (Leeds), Mason Greenwood (Man United), Kelechi Iheanacho (Leicester), Jesse Lingard (West Ham), Allan Saint-Maximin (Newcastle) and Chris Wood (Burnley).
