Albion Women forward Phoebe Warner says their eight-goal performance against Lye Town on Sunday was an achievement to be proud of, as they secured their place in the second round of the Women's FA Cup.
Warner netted twice in the 8-2 win, firing home either side of half-time in the clash - and says the display was 'relentless' from her team-mates.
She said: "They made it difficult for us first half and chances were hard to come by, but in the second half we found our rhythm and we were relentless."
"I’m happy to get the two goals it’s always nice to score in the FA Cup. I think we really punished them in the second half and it’s a performance we can all be really proud of."
Warner is hopeful the result can be the start of an FA Cup run to remember this season.
Albion Women will face Needham Market at home in the second round, but she believes any opponent throughout the competition will provide their own individual challenges and learning opportunities.
"Hopefully we can go on a bit of a run in the competition, everyone loves a cup run." Warner said.
"I think we’re happy to take whoever comes, teams above, teams below, they all challenge us in different ways and we can learn from those types of games.
"I'm sure Needham Market will be a stern test, but we've got to believe in our ability and hopefully we can reach round three."
