Albion Under-21s exited the 2024/25 Birmingham Senior Cup tournament following a 2-1 defeat to Racing Club Warwick on Tuesday evening.
The hosts took a 2-0 lead on the night at Townsend Meadow through Tonoli Omotola and Connor Mooney, with the Baggies responding in the closing stages through Ollie Bostock to halve the deficit.
Richard Beale's team were reduced to 10 men when Josh Shaw received two late bookings but, ultimately, they were unable to find another goal which would have prolonged their participation in the competition, as they departed at the third-round stage.
