In-form striker Reyes Cleary has received a nomination for September’s Premier League 2 Player of the Month Award.
The 18-year-old has scored in every game he's featured in for the young Baggies this season, with the standout performance coming at the end of last month after the striker netted a first-half brace to help Richard Beale’s PL2 side secure the derby spoils in a 6-2 triumph over Aston Villa.
Cleary has bagged seven goals from five games in all competitions for Albion's youngsters this term, while also making two appearances for the senior side against Sheffield United and Derby County in the Carabao Cup.
Other nominees for the award include Brighton’s Evan Ferguson, Crystal Palace’s John-Kymani Gordon, Chelsea’s Omari Hutchinson, Leeds United’s Mateo Fernandez and Norwich City’s Abu Kamara.
The shortlist was selected by the Premier League's Football Development Panel after PL2 club coaches nominated the best performance by an opponent in each of their league matches in the month.
Best of luck, Reyes!
