Welcome to the fifth episode of ‘Rolling Back the Years’ – the WBA TV+ show dedicated to quick catch-ups with former Albion players to discuss their time at The Hawthorns.
Martin Albrechtsen, a former Denmark international defender who spent four years at The Hawthorns between 2004 and 2008, is our latest guest, following in the footsteps of Simon Cox, Charlie Austin, Graham Dorrans and Robert Earnshaw.
Albrechtsen was part of the Albion 'Great Escape' squad in 2004/05 and a key member of the Championship-winning side of 2007/08 - a group which also reached the semi-finals of the FA Cup.
The Dane made just shy of 150 appearances for the Baggies, scoring four times.
Martin discussed several stories from his time at the club and the best players he shared pitches with in the Premier League, while also revealing his most memorable moment in Albion stripes.
There's lots of fun thrown in too, as Albrechtsen is tasked with picking a five-a-side squad from the players he played with in B71, as well as being challenged to a quickfire quiz.
