The Albion Foundation are delighted to reinstate Sandwell College as partners.
The Albion Foundation have been partnered with Sandwell College on our Football & Education Post-16 programme for almost eight years, and this year, the College has become official shirt sponsors of our MJPL under 11s to under 16s teams.
Sandwell College aims to support the Foundation’s football development pathway, ensuring all participants have access to an active and education-led lifestyle.
Scott Thomas, Curriculum and Partnerships Manager at Sandwell College said: “I was lucky enough to lead the sports department at Sandwell College for eight years and we’ve managed to forge an incredible relationship with The Albion Foundation. This relationship has grown stronger and stronger with every year.
“The other side of it is the networking into the community and really getting into this area, making sure everyone can have access to football. We’re so proud to link in with The Albion Foundation and give opportunities to these young people while making their way in football and footsteps into a solid education programme.”

Dave Williams, Head of Sport at Sandwell College said: “The Sandwell College programme provides opportunities for those 16+ but gives back to the community. It shows that those younger and part of your MJPL sides can have something to strive towards, giving them opportunity to gain a good education and to thrive as a footballer."
Jonathan Ward, Deputy Director at The Albion Foundation believes this opportunity is a fantastic one for the Foundation.
“The Albion Foundation are delighted to continue our partnership with Sandwell College," Ward said. "We’ve been in partnership with Sandwell College for eight years.
“The college programme started off with 26 participants and we are now at 140 participants across our college programmes. Reinstating this partnership is another great step towards achieving our goals alongside our partners."
