Semi Ajayi helped Nigeria book a place in the last 16 of AFCON thanks to a 1-0 win over Guinea-Bissau on Monday evening.
The Baggies defender completed the whole match at Stade Félix Houphouët-Boigny in Abidjan.
Opa Sangante’s own goal in the first period was enough for Semi’s Super Eagles to secure safe passage to the knockout stage of the tournament.

Nigeria finished second in Group A, level on points with winners Equatorial Guinea who earned a stunning 4-0 victory over hosts Ivory Coast, who now have a nervous wait to see if they qualify for the next round.
Ajayi’s nation will play the runners-up in Group C next, with Senegal, Guinea and Cameroon all possible opponents on Saturday.
Congratulations, Semi.
