Semi Ajayi played the entirety of Nigeria's 1-1 draw with Equatorial Guinea in their opening Group A match at AFCON.
The Baggies defender completed 90 minutes at the heart of the Super Eagles defence in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.
Equatorial Guinea took a surprise lead in the 36th minute courtesy of Iban Salvador, only for Nigeria to strike back less than 120 seconds later through star man Victor Osimhen.
The result leaves Nigeria second in the standings, two points behind leaders Ivory Coast, who they face next on Thursday (ko 5pm United Kingdom time).
