Striker Simran Jhamat ended the 2023/24 campaign as Albion Women’s top scorer after an encouraging first season at the club.
The forward, who joined last September, netted 11 goals across all competitions - including the FAWNL Northern Premier Division (3), County Cup (4), League Cup (2) and Adobe Women’s FA Cup (2).
And Head Coach Siobhan Hodgetts-Still was quick to sing the praises of Jhamat’s contribution throughout the year.
“To finish as top goalscorer is a great achievement,” said the boss.
“Some of her efforts have been vital in helping us win important games. And it wasn’t just the goals, she chipped in with assists, too.
“Sim brought some great experience into the group when she joined, and she’s been a great person to have in and around the team.
“Overall, she’s had a good first season at tier three and I’m delighted for her.”
