Albion Women head coach Siobhan Hodgetts-Still believes her side were “dominant” against Huddersfield Town in the FA Women’s National League North on Sunday.
The Baggies, who claimed an important 2-1 triumph in Yorkshire, struck through two set-pieces as Olivia Rabjohn’s dangerous deliveries caught the Terriers defence out, allowing Fran Orthodoxou and Jess Reavill to add their names to the scoresheet in the first half.
Despite a late consolation penalty from the hosts, Hodgetts-Still’s Albion held out to pick up maximum points away from home.
She said: “We’re so happy to get the three points on board. We knew we had to come and get three points and the girls did the job.
“I thought in the first half, we dominated, created several chances and scored two goals off set-pieces. In the second half, Huddersfield came at us, they brought on the number four who caused problems.

“We had to dig deep to secure the three points that the girls had worked hard for. We look at set-pieces in training.”
On-loan Leicester City defender Jess Reavill, bagged her first for the club in an immense display where she proved threatening in both boxes.
Hodgetts-Still: “Jess was excellent today. Scoring the second goal really helped.
“It was a great finish and then second half she's come out of nowhere and made a last-minute tackle. She's just showing her capabilities and she's a huge asset to us.”
Albion Women are next in action on Sunday, March 10, when they host Burnley at The Hawthorns - an occasion the head coach is excited for.
“It's always a special occasion being at The Hawthorns. For the staff and players, it's a huge occasion. We're all looking forward to it and we’re ready to go again next week. We'll get back to the grass and put a plan together and we'll do our best to get the three points.”
