Louis Sowe has strengthened his Albion Women defensive line by adding 18-year-old Erin Smith to the squad.
Smith was previously at Leafield Athletic and Coventry United before signing for the Baggies ready for the 2020/21 season.
The centre-back who grew up playing in Albion's Regional Talent Club has already played in the two pre-seasons victories against Solihull Moors and Long Eaton United.
And Smith can't wait to get started with the side.
"When I played here as a junior I absolutely loved it so I'm so glad to be back," Erin said.
"I've loved pre-season and being part of the squad with all the girls, the transition has been easy.
"I've got that buzz back for football again and all the girls have been so welcoming so I'm loving being back.
"I'm just excited to train, start the season and get stuck in for the team," she said.
Head Coach, Sowe, is excited to have Erin in the setup.
"I'm delighted to have Erin on board. She's someone we have known about for a while and her attitude and enthusiasm to improve is excellent," Sowe said.
"She's played the last two pre-season fixtures and performed really well, she has fitted straight into the group with her positive personality and I think in this environment she'll improve even more," he added.
Erin and the squad will continue their preparation for the new season at home to MK Dons on Sunday in a behind closed doors friendly.
