The Baggies are back in action on Saturday afternoon, making the short journey up the M6 to the bet365 Stadium where they'll take on old rivals Stoke City (ko 3pm).
Carlos Corberán's men have won one, lost one and drawn one in all competitions so far this term, picking up four points from their opening two Sky Bet Championship matches.
The Potters kicked off their campaign with back-to-back triumphs over Coventry City and Carlisle United in league and cup respectively, but then suffered a disappointing 3-0 reverse at Watford last weekend.
Both second-tier fixtures ended level last term, with the two sides drawing 1-1 at The Hawthorns in December and 2-2 up in Staffordshire in April.

The hosts
Everyone associated with Stoke City will be desperate to see the club finish inside the top half of the Sky Bet Championship this season.
2024/25 will be the Potters' seventh consecutive term in the second tier following their relegation from the top flight in 2017/18, with Saturday's hosts unable to record a finish higher than 14th in any of the six previous years.
Stoke were threatened by relegation in the previous campaign, but managed to secure four victories and three draws in their final eight league matches to drive them up away from the bottom three.
They head into the weekend's clash with Carlos Corberán's men having lost just two of their last 11 fixtures in all competitions and with the opportunity to record a fourth successive home league win for the first time since April 2014.
Boss Steven Schumacher will want his players to get last Saturday's 3-0 defeat at Watford out of their minds before stepping out on to the pitch against the Baggies. The Liverpudlian, who was a midfielder in his playing days for the likes of Bradford City, Crewe Alexandra and Bury among others, joined the Potters just before Christmas in 2023 and has won 11, lost 11 and drawn six of his 28 games in charge.
One from the history books
The Baggies secured all three Premier League points at Stoke City in dramatic circumstances in January 2012.
James Morrison's effort from distance was spilled into the net by Potters goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen, giving the visitors a 1-0 lead at the break.
Cameron Jerome's header brought the scores level with less than five minutes to go, but Graham Dorrans' injury-time free-kick ensured victory for Roy Hodgson's men.
