Two young Baggies featured for their nations over the recent international break.
Dauda Iddrisa enjoyed a productive spell away with Italy’s U17s, who played their three matches slightly earlier between November 5-11.
It was a successful outing for the defensive midfielder, as the Blues won all of their qualifiers for the Under-17 European Championship tournament next year - with Iddrisa playing maximum minutes and helping them keep three clean sheets across the encounters.
Operating at full-back and centre-half, the 16-year-old played his part as the Italians beat San Marino 5-0, Wales 4-0, and Norway 7-0 during a successful spell away from his equally impressive start to the campaign in Richard Beale’s PL2 team.
There was a special moment for young professional Ollie Bostock on his second call-up to the Wales Under-19 side for their European qualifiers.
Although his only start during the break came in a 2-1 defeat, Bostock enjoyed another memorable occasion in a Dragons shirt when he netted the opening goal of the game against European giants France - marking his first strike in the nation’s 19s setup.

The attacker made two further appearances off the bench during wins against Scotland and Liechtenstein, placing Wales in second position in Group 5 to give their qualification chances a big boost following the conclusion of November’s fixtures.
At club level, the 17-year-old has been back in the PL2 mix since recovering from a frustrating early-season injury. He provided an assist in his last match before the break during the young Baggies’ PL Cup win v Fleetwood, and will hope for similar form heading into the new year.
His 21s colleague Ben Cisse also went away with the England Men’s Elite League team, but didn’t feature during their matches against Germany and Poland.
