West Bromwich Albion make the long trip north up to the Stadium of Light for a clash with Sunderland in the Sky Bet Championship on Tuesday night (ko 8pm).
The Baggies were held to a 2-2 draw by Norwich City at The Hawthorns on Saturday, but Carlos Corberán's men did win their most recent away match at Hull City earlier in November.
Sunderland also picked up a point at the weekend, drawing 1-1 down in London against Millwall in a game which saw the Lions snatch an injury-time equaliser at The Den.
The Black Cats have had the upper hand in this fixture over the last few years, winning three on the bounce. Albion's last triumph over Tuesday's hosts was a 2-1 success in December 2022.

The hosts
Sunderland have made a terrific start to the 2024/25 campaign and sit joint-top of the Sky Bet Championship table ahead of Albion's visit to the north east on Tuesday.
They've collected 32 points from their opening 16 games, the same amount as fellow high-flyers Leeds United and Sheffield United.
Saturday's 1-1 scoreline at Millwall was the fourth match in-a-row where the Black Cats have drawn and they'll be keen to get back to winning ways as quickly as possible in an attempt to keep pace with the clubs at the top.
Albion's next opponents have only suffered two league defeats so far this term, a joint-low in the Championship alongside Carlos Corberán's Baggies, Leeds United, Sheffield United and Burnley.
In front of their own supporters they've picked up five victories and two draws in seven encounters and are one of just four teams yet to be defeated on their own turf.
48-year-old Frenchman Régis Le Bris has been a success at the Stadium of Light. The former Lorient boss was appointed Head Coach in the middle of the summer and has turned Sunderland into one of the best-performing sides in the second tier.
Le Bris, who represented Rennes and Laval as a defender in his playing days, has a record of nine wins, five draws and just three defeats from his 17 games in charge.
One from the history books
The Baggies collected three Premier League points up at the Stadium of Light in fine fashion in November 2012.
Efforts from Zoltan Gera and Shane Long had the visitors two goals clear at the break.
Craig Gardner pulled one back for the Black Cats, but a Romelu Lukaku penalty restored the advantage which they'd held at the interval.
Stephane Sessegnon made it 3-2 in the final stages, but Marc-Antoine Fortune added a fourth for the Albion in added time to seal the victory.
