Albion Women have resigned midfielder Tash Tezgel.
The 29 year-old retired in July 2020 after enjoying an eight month spell with the Baggies during the 2019/20 campaign.
In September last year Tash went back to her former club Stoke City Women to be their Player Liaison Coach, but couldn't shake off the desire to get amongst it again.
“It’s great to be back," said Tezgel.
“Coming back into football and coaching with Stoke gave me a different perspective and it showed me what I was missing.
“The girls here have always been really supportive and welcoming so for me, returning was a real no brainer.
“I’m here to work hard and compete for a shirt. This team is full of talented players and I think we can be a top finishing side.”
Manager Louis Sowe is also pleased to have Tezgel in his squad as they look to start building towards next season.
“We’re delighted to add Tash back in our ranks," he added.
“She is fantastic character to have in the team and she’s got a tremendous amount of experience that our younger players will be able to tap into.
"She knows many of the girls already from her time here and I know they’ll be excited to see her back.”
