Tony Mowbray says he wants his team to be "positive and aggressive" at Norwich City on Saturday afternoon.
The Baggies, sat in sixth position in the Sky Bet Championship table, make the long trip to Carrow Road after a two-week domestic break owing to the opening international window of 2025.
The clash with the Canaries is the first of eight remaining fixtures in the second tier, with Albion one of several teams fighting for a play-off place.
Hosts Norwich will be desperate for points too, heading into this weekend's encounter eight adrift of the top six.
Tony insists the hosts have players who can cause damage, but is adamant his side have to be brave and believe they can return home victorious at what is a crucial stage of the 2024/25 campaign.

Mowbray said: "I don’t really know how far down the table you have to look to find the teams who still believe they have a realistic chance of finishing in the top six.
"I would suggest our opponents on Saturday afternoon, Norwich City, would still believe they have a chance. In their minds they’ll be thinking that they’ll need a victory to start things off.
"For us, we have to go there and be positive, aggressive and believe that we can win. We’re going to have to win a game or so on the road. We can’t keep drawing games and be thinking that that’s okay. We have to find a way to win.
"We’re going to go there and be really positive, yet they’ve scored the second highest amount of goals in the division at home so they obviously carry a threat.

"We have to get the balance right. I’m pretty sure it’s going to be an attractive and entertaining game with goals.
"Norwich are a very, very talented team and have individuals that can damage you on any given day. We have to be solid.
"We’re looking forward to all of the games we’ve got coming up, starting with this one at Norwich on Saturday. Bring them on. We’re excited about having the opportunity to show what a good team we can be.
"We’re going into every game trying to win it and that’s the mindset I’m drilling into the players – we don’t just want to settle for single points.
"Our plan is to win all eight games that are left. We know this is football and that’s unlikely, but let’s try and do it and see how we get on."
