Torbjørn Heggem has been named in Norway’s senior squad for their opening two 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Heggem’s nation open up the qualifying campaign with two away matches, taking on Moldova on Saturday, March 22 and then Israel on Tuesday, March 25.
Estonia and the losers of Germany and Italy in the UEFA Nations League quarter-final will be joining Norway, Moldova and Isreal in Group I.
The Albion man will link up with his country following his club’s Sky Bet Championship clash against Hull City at The Hawthorns on Saturday, March 15.
