Albion will pay tribute to Club Doctor Julian Widdowson ahead of the fixture against Rotherham United on Saturday (ko 3pm).
The club will hold a minute’s applause before kick-off at The Hawthorns in memory of ‘Jules’, whose sad passing was announced last weekend.
Black armbands will also be worn by both teams during the Sky Bet Championship game.
The highly-respected sports medicine doctor joined the Baggies in 2018, having earned a glittering reputation in rugby with spells at Bath, Gloucester, and the Welsh Rugby Union, who he continued to represent alongside his responsibilities at The Hawthorns.
The thoughts of all at The Hawthorns remain with everyone affected by his passing, and the club again sends its heartfelt condolences to Jules’ wife, Celia, and the Widdowson family at this desperately sad time.
