The Albion Foundation are delighted to welcome West Bromwich-based care provider, Trust In Care, as new partners.
Housing their office base on West Bromwich high street, Trust In Care provide a person-centred service, helping people to live comfortably and safely within their living environment and community.
Trust In Care will specifically support the Foundation’s PAN Disability Junior teams, with their logo being seen on the front of those teams’ shirts, along with supporting adult provision.
This new partnership involves a personal touch for Sham Malhi, managing director at Trust In Care, whose son, Dylan, plays for a Foundation PAN Disability Junior team.
“The partnership is all about supporting younger children with PAN Disabilities,” Malhi said. “My son attends one of the sessions, and over the years I’ve watched his confidence grow.
“I just want to make sure that’s available for children with all disabilities. That’s a main reason why I’ve decided to support The Albion Foundation through Trust In Care.
“We’re a care provider, so we’re always making sure people have opportunities, so this integrated work will help that happen. The work that the Foundation does is great, as a local businessman, I think this is a cause close to my heart, but I also want to dedicate my time to give access to services.
“Having grown up in West Bromwich, I’m born and bred in the town, and our offices are just off the high street. We’re supporting the PAN Disability group and I look forward to seeing this partnership evolve over time.”

Deputy director Jonathan Ward believes the move is a perfect one for the Foundation, and that Sham’s personal connection to the business can only be beneficial.
“The Albion Foundation are delighted to be partnering with Trust In Care,” Ward said. “Trust In Care provide many of the same values as the Foundation.
“They’re a local community looking to change people’s lives. We’re delighted to have Sham and his team on board.
“They’ve been associated with the Foundation for a number of years and we’re glad to see them want to continue that partnership with us. Sham and his team will take their place supporting the PAN Disability team, alongside our adult provision.
“We can’t wait to see this partnership flourish, and we’re excited for the year ahead.”

Ajay Gill, the Foundation’s Head of Disability, says that Sham’s support will help leave a legacy for his son, and others like him, ensuring they can be involved in sport.
“We’re pleased to see our partners Trust In Care at our session this evening,” Gill said. “The funds have enabled us to ensure that session costs are readily available for participants.
“Dylan is one of our U12s participants, and Sham wanted to give back to his son’s session alongside other participants. They live very close to the facility that we train, and our office base – they just wanted to give something back.
“It’s a proud moment for Dylan to have Trust In Care on his shirt, his family wanted to leave a legacy for their son and families like theirs. There’s always football for all of our players, and we aim to get as many people playing sport as possible.”

For Dylan, Sham’s son, he’s incredibly excited to have his Dad supporting his Foundation team.
“I like scoring goals and I have fun,” Dylan said. “I like celebrating with my friends.
“My Dad helping to support my team makes me happy. It helps my friends play with him supporting the team.”
The Albion Foundation would like to place on record its continued thanks to Trust In Care for their support.
