Albion's youngsters fell to a 2-0 defeat at Leicester City on Saturday.
The Foxes got off to the best start possible, quickly taking a one-goal advantage within five minutes through defender Freddie Cook.
It wasn't until late in the second half that the game would see another goal, with Leicester substitute Reece Evans finding the back of the net with just over 75 minutes gone.
Albion couldn't find a goal to make the Foxes sweat with the minutes running down, leaving the hosts to claim victory.
The Baggies sit 10th in the table following the result, with the Foxes now within two points of them.
