Divine Onyemachi in action for Albion's U18 side against Southampton

Southampton proved to be too strong for Albion’s U18 side down on the south coast on Friday night.

The Saints, who are chasing the title, raced into a two-goal lead inside 13 minutes and went on to score twice more before the interval.

The hosts made it 5-0 in the middle of the second period, but Leigh Downing’s team managed to register a consolation strike with virtually the final kick of the game.

Divine Onyemachi found the back of the net following good work from Miller McDonald.

ALBION: Trialist, Maughan, Morrish, Dupont, Trialist (Letlat 70), McDonald, Gompe, Colesby (Okorodudu 70), Trialist (Abudu HT), Onyemachi, Trialist (Francis-Ceaser 50).
