Albion’s youngsters delivered a five-star showing to defeat league leaders West Ham United in the capital on Saturday.
Eseosa Sule was the star of the show, bagging a hat-trick, while fellow forwards Adriel Walker and Cheick Kone also found the net.
Leigh Downing’s men made the perfect start and scored after just ten minutes when Sule tapped in from close range following good work down the right by Dan Chimeziri.
Favour Fawunmi’s quickfire double put the hosts 2-1 up on the half-hour mark, but Walker’s impressive header brought the Baggies level before the break.
Albion kicked off the second period in the same fashion as the first, with Sule nodding in his second of the day after Divine Onyemachi had produced a brilliant bit of play down the left.
The visitors weathered several West Ham attacking spells as the encounter ticked beyond the hour, and went on to kill the contest with two further strikes on the break in the final six minutes.
Sule wrapped up his treble with a confident effort having being played through one-on-one with the goalkeeper, before Kone converted a header after meeting Walker’s corner to seal a super win on the road.
ALBION: Brady, Kirton, Dupont, Humphries, Maughan, Chimeziri (Kone), Mandey, Deeming (Beedie), Onyemachi (Cherchi), Walker, Sule.
