Albion's youngsters put on a late show to earn a deserved point against a strong Chelsea side on Saturday afternoon.
Leigh Downing's young Baggies hosted the table topping Blues, who came out of the blocks quickly, netting the opener within the first five minutes through Yahya Idrissi.
It took until the 45th minute for Chelsea to double their advantage, with Reiss-Alexander Russel-Denny firing home a brilliant free kick.
But the Baggies responded in kind in first half stoppage time through Cole Deeming, who lashed home a free kick of his own to get the hosts within touching distance heading into the second 45.
Both sides battled to get the next goal, but Albion's perserverance paid off in the 91st minute, with Deago Nelson's cross eventually finding Eseosa Sule who netted a deserved equaliser.
That point keeps the Baggies ninth in the table, three points behind Leicester and Brighton with a game in hand.
