Dara O’Shea and Jayson Molumby featured for the Republic of Ireland as they beat Latvia 3-2 in a friendly on Wednesday night.
Both Baggies players started at the Aviva Stadium and played the full 90 minutes.
Ireland raced into a two-goal lead inside 17 minutes with Callum O’Dowda and Evan Ferguson finding the net, but the Latvians hit back and were level at the break thanks to efforts from Roberts Uldrikis and Arturs Zjuzins.
However the Boys In Green weren’t to be denied victory and bagged the winner midway through the second period, a goal which was scored by Rotherham United’s Chiedozie Ogbene.
Dara, Jayson and Ireland will now prepare for Monday’s home clash with FIFA World Cup runners-up France in what will be their first match of UEFA EURO 2024 qualifying.
