West Bromwich Albion are delighted to continue its successful partnership with the University of Wolverhampton for the 2024/25 season, reaffirming its status as the club’s Preferred Higher Education Partner.
Since 2013, the collaboration has provided opportunities for students such as work placements, shadowing opportunities and Q&A sessions across several departments at the club, enriching university courses in photography, marketing and sport.
The partnership also supports the delivery of Course Taster Sessions in Football Education and Coaching to Albion Foundation participants, while promoting the University as a key progression pathway.
It has already produced tangible results, with seven University graduates now employed in Albion’s Academy and throughout the club.
Tomasz Chadwick, Albion’s Head of Commercial, said: “This collaboration bridges education and sport, creating opportunities for students while enhancing our operations. It’s a vital part of our commitment to community and talent development.”
Prospective students are encouraged to explore these opportunities at the University’s upcoming open days, with the partnership offering a proven pathway from education to employment at one of the Midlands’ most historic clubs.
Anyone interested in studying for courses at the School of Sport at the University of Wolverhampton should register for one of the forthcoming Open Days.
