Albion academy product Zac Ashworth has completed a permanent transfer to League One outfit Blackpool.
The 21-year-old left-back spent last season on loan at Bolton Wanderers, making 23 appearances in all competitions as the Trotters secured a third-place finish in the third tier.
Zac made his first-team debut for the Baggies in an FA Cup tie against Brighton and Hove Albion in January 2022 and went on to make six appearances for the club.
Ashworth joined Albion’s ranks at the age of 10 and played a pivotal role in the club’s 2022 Premier League Cup-winning campaign.
His form for Richard Beale’s men earned him a call-up to the Wales Under-21 squad, making his debut against Gibraltar in June 2022.
Zac is a popular player at the club’s training ground and departs with the best wishes of all at Albion. Go well, Zac.
