Boyhood Albion supporter Kirton fulfilled a lifelong dream by signing his pro deal in July 2024.

Archie was played slightly further back during parts of his first term as a scholar in B71. 

The right-sided midfielder has adapted to the responsibilities of a wing-back under Leigh Downing in the U18s and had a strong end to his opening year in the programme, contributing three goals and two assists in 18 matches as the Baggies' scholars went five games unbeaten at the end of the 2022/23 season. 

Kirton matched those numbers during his final term on the scholarship programme but with slightly more goals, scoring four times with just the one assist to his name. In addition to his overall progression down the right wing, Archie also made his PL2 breakthrough - starting in a 1-0 victory over Middlesbrough in January 2024.

Archie grew up in Stourbridge and joined Albion's youth setup when he was just six-years-old - holding a regular season ticket at The Hawthorns during his life. 

And he'll be keen to mould his professional career with the backing of his beloved Baggies.
