Exciting striker Ellie May provides another very useful option for Siobhan Hodgetts-Still’s forward line.

Like fellow summer recruit Marli Rhodes-Andrews, Ellie is a product of the Derby County academy where she gathered recognition at England youth level.

May went stateside, turning out for Rider University following a spell at East Midlands team Leicester City.

Ellie rejoined the Rams to help steer them towards a second-place finish in the FA WNL Northern Premier Division before joining Burnley in 2022/23, where she became a first-team regular.

She then joined Women’s Championship side Sheffield United prior to her switch to the Baggies, where Ellie is hoping to get among the goals in 2024/25.
