The Baggies Cycle Challenge is back for 2025 – can you conquer it?
The Albion Foundation are proud to announce this year’s cycling challenge: a 150-mile bike ride from Watford back to The Hawthorns in April 2025.
The Baggies Bike Challenge is now in its 11th year, and we are appealing for supporters to join us and help raise funds for the Foundation as we strive to continue our award-winning work in the community.
The challenge will kick off on Thursday, April 10, 2025 returning to The Hawthorns in time for the game against Watford on Saturday, April 12. Riders will cycle from Watford's Vicarage Road Stadium back to the Black Country, backed by a support team who will be on hand to assist with any mechanicals.
Itinerary:
- Thursday, April 10: Meet at The Hawthorns to travel to Watford. Cycle approximately 50 miles to Abingdon.
- Friday, April 11: Cycle from Abingdon to Worcester.
- Saturday, April 12: Finish the cycle from Worcester to The Hawthorns.
We are inviting supporters, cyclists and volunteers to join us on this journey. All that we ask in return is that you raise funds for the trip that will enable The Albion Foundation to continue its fantastic work within the local community.
You will need to pay a £100 deposit to secure your place on the ride, which will supplement your transportation to Watford, accommodation and lunches during the event. You will then need to raise a minimum of £600 in sponsorship to take part in the Challenge. Any funds raised over this amount would be gratefully received by The Albion Foundation.
