The Albion Foundation are delighted to welcome graphic design agency Newmans to the Patrons Club.
Established in 1983, the company aims to ‘help business by design’, their core expertise lies in the design, development and management of brand communications across print, digital and advertising media.
The Lichfield-based business’ director Adam Hope is son of Albion legend Bobby Hope, who made over 400 appearances for the club, winning the historic 1968 FA Cup with the Baggies.
“We’ve always been incredibly impressed by the Albion Foundation's work,” the Albion great’s son said. “The initiatives they run have a real impact on people's lives.
“As a previous employee and now the owner of Newmans, I feel delighted and privileged to be in a position to support such a worthy cause.
“There's also personal connection for me. My father, Bobby Hope, moved to the Albion from Scotland when he was just 15, living in digs a stone’s throw from the ground.
“My mother is from the local area too. Becoming a Patron Club member feels like a small way to honour his legacy and give back to the community that played such a significant part in our family’s life.”
Jayne Norton, events and partnerships coordinator at The Albion Foundation agrees that Newmans are an excellent fit for the charity’s ethos and its continuing work in the community.
“We’re pleased to add Newmans to our Patrons Club,” Norton began. “The respect and appreciation for our programmes has been clear from Adam throughout.
“We’re delighted that he wishes to continue his affiliation with the club in this way, which will honour his father’s legacy and incredible time at the club. We’re excited to have this innovative local business on board and look forward to working with them.”
