The Albion Foundation are delighted to welcome WBA Supporters' Golf Society to the Patrons Club.
A branch of the Official West Bromwich Albion Supporters’ Club, encourages fans, and all lovers of golf to gather on a regular basis and step up to the tee.
The Society hosts a range of tournaments throughout the year at different golf clubs across the West Midlands.
“We’re delighted to work with The Albion Foundation as a part of the Patrons Club,” Garry Elwell, Chairman of the Society said. “As a club that brings the entire community together, we feel supporting an organisation that represents the heart of that community – is a great thing to do.
“We have nothing but admiration for the work that the Foundation does and will endeavour to support them wherever we can. We’re glad to be on board with this excellent charity, that does so much for everyone surrounding West Bromwich Albion.”
Deputy Director, Jonathan Ward, believes that having another local entity on board provides a fantastic opportunity for the club’s charity arm.
“We’re pleased to add WBA Supporters Golf Society to our Patrons Club,” Ward began. “The respect and appreciation for our work within the community has been clear from them throughout, and having an organisation that’s already so close to the fanbase can only be promising.
“Through this partnership, we hope to continue to excel in the community. We’re excited to be working with them.”
